I have been called to serve in the Arkansas, Little Rock Mission! I will be preaching in the Spanish language and leave for the Provo MTC on February 25th. I thought this day would never come, it was completely surreal to FINALLY have this anticipated envelope in my hands. I am so excited, a little bit nervous, super anxious and very grateful for the opportunity to go out and spread the gospel.
The purpose of this blog is to keep my family and friends back home updated on my journey in Arkansas. Once I leave, my mom will take over and post my weekly letters, pictures and other information about my mission. I also figured this was a pretty simple way to store memories and experiences for me to go back and look through (heaven knows I will not be scrap booking) ha ha. And lastly, I have been searching other sister missionary blogs the last couple weeks seeking for some good tips and information, and it has been incredibly helpful. Maybe this blog will help other sister missionaries in the future to prepare for their missions as well.
